Mediavyr Player is an independent media player. These notices explain its use and external services. The app is licensed under the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom EULA is supplied in the App Store. These website notices do not replace mandatory consumer rights or the licences of open-source components.
1. Bring your own authorised content
Mediavyr does not provide, host, sell, recommend or bundle IPTV subscriptions, TV channels, films, series or provider credentials. You are responsible for having permission to access the providers, playlists, files and libraries you connect. Do not use the app to infringe copyright or access services without authorization.
2. Third-party services and availability
Streams, EPG data, artwork, tracks, servers and provider accounts are controlled by their respective operators. Playback quality and feature availability depend on your source, network, device and service configuration. Connecting a service does not create an account or subscription with that service and does not bypass its access requirements.
3. Free access, Lite and Premium
New users receive seven days of Premium access. The app-level trial does not start a subscription or schedule a charge automatically. After the trial, users may continue with Mediavyr Lite for free or unlock Premium with a Monthly, Yearly or one-time Lifetime purchase. Current prices, currencies, availability and purchase terms are shown by the App Store and the in-app purchase screen; the website does not guarantee a particular regional price.
Lite provides core playback features on the device. Premium adds features including multiple sources, Plex/Jellyfin/Emby, iCloud synchronization, Source Sync, global search and advanced sorting. Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge; purchases do not include media content or guarantee that any third-party service will remain available. An update or reinstall does not automatically reset the trial.
4. Billing, cancellation and refunds
Apple processes payments and restores eligible purchases. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel renewal. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s applicable process, without limiting rights provided by law. Mediavyr does not receive your payment card details.
5. Synchronization and parental controls
iCloud features require suitable Apple Account, device and network settings. Source Sync is optional and does not upload your media or make a local server publicly reachable. Disabling sync does not by itself delete copies already stored. See the Privacy Policy.
PIN/password controls protect selected in-app categories and playback. You choose the restrictions on each device; they are not a replacement for system-wide parental controls or supervision of the underlying media sources.
6. Service names, artwork and licences
Plex
Plex, Plex Media Server and the Plex logo are trademarks of Plex, Inc. In-app markings identify Plex-compatible functionality.
Plex, the Plex Play logo and Plex Media Server are trademarks of Plex and used under a license
Emby
The Emby name identifies a compatible server. Mediavyr uses a generic server symbol for this connection, not the Emby logo.
Jellyfin artwork
Artwork attribution: Jellyfin Project / jellyfin-ux. The adapted in-app artwork is available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. Changes: vector reconstruction and monochrome interface tint. This artwork licence does not itself grant trademark rights or imply approval by the Jellyfin project.

Open-source components
The app includes VLCKit / libVLC and AMSMB2 / libsmb2. Their applicable licences and notices remain in effect; the app’s Settings → Privacy & Legal → Third-Party Licenses section provides further information. The original GNU LGPL 2.1 licence is available from the Free Software Foundation. These notices do not relicense unrelated Mediavyr code.
7. Website demonstrations
The images and promotional film on this website are illustrative interface demonstrations with fictional media. They are not a catalogue of available content. The film is not a native screen recording; the released interface may differ. No demo stream or public provider credentials are supplied by this website.
8. Changes and contact
The app and these notices may be updated as features and services change. Availability can vary briefly by App Store platform and region.
